The Vetus UNIFL1635 Uniflex 16 Flexible Coupling is a high-performance marine coupling designed to deliver precise alignment, vibration isolation, and reliable torque transfer between the engine and propeller shaft. It compensates for angular misalignment up to 2°, automatically centering the shaft on the gearbox flange for smoother propulsion and reduced drivetrain stress.
Built with a durable rubber damping element, the Uniflex 16 minimizes torsional vibrations and engine noise, contributing to a quieter and more comfortable onboard experience. It is axially and radially secured against shearing, ensuring safety and long-lasting reliability in demanding marine environments.
The coupling’s clamping hub for Ø 35 mm shafts and 4” flange allow easy installation without special machining, tapering, or keyway cutting. It fits directly onto Hurth, Velvet, Technodrive, ZF, and PRM gearboxes. Optional adapter flanges are available for Volvo, Yanmar, and Kanzaki transmissions, offering broad compatibility across multiple vessel configurations.
