The Vetus UNIFL1330 Uniflex 13 Flexible Coupling is specifically designed to ensure accurate alignment and smooth torque transfer between the engine and propeller shaft in marine applications. It compensates for shaft misalignment of up to 2°, automatically centering the shaft to the gearbox flange, resulting in quiet, balanced propulsion and reduced wear on drivetrain components.
This coupling effectively absorbs torsional vibrations and shock loads, minimizing stress on the engine, gearbox, and bearings. Its integrated rubber damping element provides excellent vibration isolation while maintaining torque transmission efficiency. The Uniflex 13 is axially and radially secured against shearing off, ensuring safety and durability under all marine operating conditions.
With a 4" standard flange and a clamping hub for Ø 30 mm shafts, the UNIFL1330 is easy to install and requires no special machining or keyway cutting. It mounts directly on Hurth, Velvet, Technodrive, ZF, and PRM gearboxes, while adapter flanges are available for Volvo, Yanmar, and Kanzaki transmissions.
