The Vetus Bullflex 4 Flexible Coupling is designed to provide optimal torsional vibration damping and precise alignment between the marine engine and propeller shaft. With its pre-tensioned flexible rubber element, this coupling ensures low-noise, vibration-free power transmission while compensating for minor misalignments.
The Bullflex 4 is suitable for Ø 1" (25 mm) shafts and features a 4-inch flange for direct compatibility with standard gearbox types such as Hurth, Velvet, Technodrive, ZF, and PRM. Even with a misalignment of up to 2°, the shaft remains perfectly centered, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing drivetrain wear. Additionally, its construction provides galvanic separation between engine and shaft, preventing electrolysis and extending component life.
