The Vetus ALT4242SL Altus Deck Hatch (article ALT4242SL) is a CE AII-classified square hatch designed for ocean-grade deck installation. It features external dimensions of 495 x 495 mm and a cut-out size of 421 x 421 mm. The robust satin sheen anodized aluminum frame stands only 23 mm high and recesses 22 mm below deck level. A 10 mm dark smoke acrylic lid provides durability and UV resistance. The hatch opens from both inside and outside, locks fully watertight or in a ventilation position, and includes adjusters allowing lid positioning up to 90°.
