The Vetus ALTR420SL Altus Deck Hatch (article ALTR420SL) is designed for ocean-rated deck installation and certified to CE class AII. It has an external diameter of 491 mm and a cut-out diameter of 417 mm, using a slim 23 mm satin sheen anodized aluminum frame that recesses 22 mm below the deck surface. The 10 mm dark smoke acrylic lid can be opened from inside or outside and held at almost any angle up to 90°, with watertight or ventilation-lock positions for secure and controlled airflow.

The Vetus ALTR420SL Altus round deck hatch combines marine-grade strength with dependable ventilation and emergency access capabilities. Designed for vessels operating in demanding offshore environments (CE AII, appliance location area II), it features a corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum frame and a robust dark smoke acrylic pane for high durability and improved UV resistance. The hatch can be locked watertight or secured in ventilation mode and operated easily from either inside or outside the boat.
