Clamcleat CL827-17 Aero cleats are rope-mounted aluminium and nylon assemblies for 4–6 mm (5/32–1/4") lines, combining the CL827 Aero base with a CL217 Mk1 Side-Entry Racing Junior starboard cleat. The side-entry fairlead allows quick rigging and de-rigging without unthreading the rope, while the complete assembly can provide a 2:1 mechanical advantage and be repositioned by hand without tools. Suitable for sports netting, hammocks, canvas structures, tie-downs, radio masts, aerials and sun sails. Available in silver or hard-anodised versions.

Clamcleat CL827-17 is a rope-mounted Aero cleat assembly designed for ropes from 4 to 6 mm (5/32–1/4").

The system combines the CL827 Aero base with a CL217 Mk1 Side-Entry Racing Junior cleat in starboard orientation. The special side-entry fairlead allows the rope to be hooked into the cleat for quick rigging and removed again without having to unthread the line.

The assembly can be rigged to provide a 2:1 mechanical advantage, and the cleat position can be adjusted by hand without tools. This makes the CL827-17 suitable for applications where rapid setup, repositioning and de-rigging are important.

Typical uses include sports netting, hammocks, canvas structures, tie-downs, radio masts, aerials and sun sails.

The range is available in two versions: CL827-17 with a silver-finished CL217 Mk1 cleat and CL827-17AN with a hard-anodised CL217 Mk1AN cleat for increased surface durability.
