Clamcleat CL828-70 is a compact rope-mounted Aero cleat assembly designed for ropes from 3 to 4 mm (1/8–5/32").

The system combines the CL828 Aero base with a CL270 Racing Micros aluminium cleat and integrated becket. The becket allows the assembly to be rigged with a 4:1 mechanical advantage, making it suitable where higher pulling power is required from a compact rope-control system.

The cleat position on the rope can be adjusted by hand without tools, allowing quick setup and repositioning.

The CL828-70 is suitable for tents, sports netting, canvas structures, sun sails, tie-downs, radio masts, aerials and fitness equipment. It can also be used for Mirror dinghy forestay tensioning.

For rigging applications, the becket can be used with PT5110 titanium rings for standing rigging or PT5107 titanium thimbles for running rigging.

The range is available in two versions: CL828-70 with a silver CL270 Racing Micros cleat and CL828-70AN with a hard-anodised CL270AN cleat for increased surface durability.
