Clamcleat CL817 is a nylon and stainless steel cage designed for use with the CL815 Keeper and CL211 Mk2 Racing Junior cleat. Clamcleat CL817 Cage is an accessory designed for use with the CL815 Keeper and CL211 Mk2 Racing Junior cleat.
The cage guides the rope into the cleat teeth when the line is pulled from an angle, allowing the rope to be cleated or released from positions up to approximately 70° away from the normal line of pull.
A stainless steel rear fairlead provides durable rope guidance, while the nylon cage body helps keep the line correctly aligned with the cleat.
The CL817 is suitable for 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") rope and is designed for sailing and control-line applications where the operator may need to cleat or uncleat from different positions.
