Clamcleat CL702 is a lightweight aluminium boom cleat designed for ropes from 3 to 6 mm (1/8–1/4") and round tubes with a diameter of 29–32 mm (1 1/8–1 1/4").

The specially curved base allows the cleat to fit directly onto compatible tubes and spars. It can be installed using screws or rivets, providing a compact rope-control solution for boom and rigging applications.

The CL702 is manufactured from aluminium and is available in two finishes. CL702 has a silver stove-enamel coating, while CL702AN has a hard-anodised finish for a harder-wearing surface.

For best performance, 16-plait rope is recommended. Waxing the rope can help reduce sand-related wear, while heat-shrink tubing or electrical tape can be used around potential snag points in the installation.
