Clamcleat CL815 Keeper is an accessory designed to expand the functionality of CL211 Mk2 Racing Junior cleats.
The Keeper helps prevent unwanted or accidental cleating while still allowing the rope to be engaged and released positively. When the line is lightly loaded, it helps keep the rope under control and provides a clear, positive action when cleating or uncleating.
This makes the CL815 particularly useful for halyards and control lines that are adjusted frequently. It can also be used in industrial applications where ropes need to be tensioned and re-tensioned over time.
The Keeper is manufactured from acetal and is designed for 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") rope. It can be combined with the CL817 Cage to guide the rope into the cleat and with the CL819 Tapered Pad to adjust cleat angle and rope alignment.
