Clamcleat CL818 is a polypropylene tapered mounting pad designed to improve rope and cleating alignment for CL203 and Mk1 Junior cleats. A single pad angles the cleat by 10°, while two pads can be stacked for a 20° angle or reversed to form an approximately 15 mm riser. Each pad is supplied with a backplate for reinforcement when bolting through thin sections.

Clamcleat CL818 Tapered Pad with Backplate for CL203 & Mk1 Junior Cleats, 10° Angle
Clamcleat CL818 is a tapered mounting pad designed to improve rope alignment with compatible CL203 and Mk1 Junior cleats.
The pad can be mounted in either direction to suit the required rope angle. A single CL818 angles the cleat by 10°, while two pads can be stacked in the same direction to create a 20° angle.
Two pads can also be reversed and stacked to form a riser that lifts the cleat by approximately 15 mm. Each CL818 is supplied with a backplate that provides additional support when the cleat is bolted through thin mounting sections.
The tapered pad also helps reduce rope rubbing over the cleat teeth by improving the line of pull.
