Clamcleat CL248 is a compact rope cleat with an integrated hook and three sheaves, designed for ropes from 3 to 5 mm (1/8–3/16").
The hook allows the cleat to attach directly to the eye of a sail. When combined with a suitable pulley block, the three-sheave arrangement provides a 6:1 mechanical advantage for powerful and controlled line tensioning.
The CL248 is suitable for windsurfing and sand yachting applications. It is also used in Blokart systems for adjusting sail shape and tension.
