Clamcleat CL716 is a very small aluminium insert cleat designed for 3–4 mm (1/8–5/32") rope and integration into plastic fittings. Its compact shape allows the cleat to sit close to the rope path, reducing the cleating angle and saving space inside the assembly, while retaining the strength and wear resistance of an alloy cleat.

Clamcleat CL716 Very Small Alloy Insert Cleat for 3–4 mm Rope
Clamcleat CL716 is a very small aluminium insert cleat designed for ropes from 3 to 4 mm (1/8–5/32").
The cleat is intended for insert moulding into plastic fittings, combining the strength and wear resistance of an alloy cleat with the cost efficiency of a moulded surrounding component.
Its compact geometry allows the cleat to be positioned close to the point where the rope passes through the fitting. This reduces the cleating angle and minimises the space required within the assembly.
The CL716 is suitable for compact rope-control systems and can also be incorporated into specialised moulded components such as sail-edge fittings.
