Clamcleat CL712 is a compact aluminium insert cleat designed for ropes from 3 to 5 mm (1/8–3/16").

The cleat is intended to be integrated into a plastic moulding, combining the strength and wear resistance of aluminium cleat teeth with the cost advantages of a moulded surrounding component.

The standard CL712 can be pressed into the plastic while the moulding is hot or incorporated during the insert-moulding process. Typical applications include windsurf booms, downhaul systems and other equipment requiring a compact built-in rope cleat.

The range also includes the CL712-O Old Style version, providing the same general insert-cleat function for compatible older assemblies.
