Optiparts EX2180 is a high-efficiency ball bearing block designed for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, widely used in upgraded control systems such as power packs for cunningham, outhaul, and other sail adjustment setups.
This block features a 20 mm ball bearing sheave that significantly reduces friction compared to plain bearing alternatives, allowing smoother rope movement and more responsive control during sail trimming.
Optimized for control lines up to 6 mm diameter, the EX2180 is well suited for high-frequency adjustment systems where precision and minimal resistance are critical.
