Optiparts EX2183 is a compact composite cam cleat designed for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, commonly used as part of cleat plate assemblies for cunningham and outhaul control systems.
This cleat features a ball bearing cam mechanism that ensures smooth rope engagement and controlled release, allowing for efficient and responsive sail trimming even under repeated adjustment cycles.
Constructed from durable composite materials, the cleat offers a lightweight solution suitable for applications where minimizing rigging weight is important. It is optimized for control lines up to 6 mm diameter.
With a 27 mm hole spacing and compatibility with 3 mm screws, the EX2183 is designed for easy installation on standard mounting plates and compact rigging layouts.
