Optiparts EX2186 is a premium upgrade block designed for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, featuring a 29 mm Harken ball bearing sheave and supplied with a mounting bolt for easy installation on existing block plates.
This block is intended as a direct replacement for standard builder-supplied control line blocks, significantly improving performance by reducing friction and allowing smoother, more efficient line movement during sail trimming.
The high-quality Harken ball bearing system ensures minimal resistance under load, improving responsiveness in cunningham, outhaul, and other control systems where precise adjustment is critical.
Designed for control lines up to 8 mm diameter, the EX2186 provides a balance of strength, efficiency, and durability for demanding sailing conditions.
