Optiparts EX2165 is a complete hiking strap adjustment kit designed for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, allowing sailors to install an efficient adjustable hiking strap control system in compliance with recent class rule changes.
The kit includes a Clamcleat adjuster and a pre-cut 4 mm DB-Racing control line, precisely sized for direct installation. This allows quick setup with the option to add either a loop handle or braided handle for customized ergonomic adjustment.
The included DB-Racing line is engineered with a Dyneema® core and Technora / polyester cover, combining exceptional tensile strength, abrasion resistance, grip, and long-term durability in demanding marine environments.
This system allows fast and accurate hiking strap tension adjustment, helping sailors optimize cockpit ergonomics and hiking position for improved comfort and performance.
