Optiparts EX2164 is a replacement boom strap kit for Laser® and ILCA® dinghies, developed to substitute the standard stainless steel lacing eye strap mounted in the center section of the boom with a flexible soft webbing eye strap solution.
The soft strap design reduces abrasion risk to lines and sails, lowers hardware weight, and provides a more flexible attachment point while maintaining secure rigging functionality.
