Optiparts EX2000P - PRO Padded Hiking Strap for Laser® / ILCA® – Extra Wide 10 cm Performance Strap
Optiparts EX2000P is a high-performance PRO hiking strap designed for Laser® and ILCA® sailors who require greater comfort, stability, and grip during prolonged hiking sessions. Its extra-wide 10 cm profile increases foot support area, reducing pressure points and improving control during intensive sailing conditions.
The strap is built from strong black webbing partially covered with UV-resistant wear-resistant black protective cloth for long-term marine durability. Inside, it features thicker extra-stiff closed-cell foam padding that does not absorb water, maintaining structural firmness and low weight even in wet environments.
A rubber non-slip layer underneath enhances grip between boot and strap, helping sailors maintain more secure foot positioning and improving control over boat trim and balance. The aft loop and front mounting holes provide easy secure installation on compatible Laser® and ILCA® dinghies.
This model is especially suitable for sailors seeking longer hiking comfort and more responsive boat handling, with only a slight increase in weight compared with standard versions.
This product is compatible with Laser® or ILCA® but is not an original Laser® or ILCA® product. Laser® is a registered trademark owned by Velum Limited. ILCA® is a registered trademark owned by Laser Class Association Inc.
