This arrangement provides both reliable sail clew attachment and low-friction outhaul line handling for smoother, more precise sail foot tension adjustment.
The built-in ball bearing sheave minimizes resistance under load, improving trimming responsiveness and reducing friction compared with plain bearing alternatives. The 20 mm sheave is suitable for control lines up to 6 mm diameter, making it ideal for standard Laser® / ILCA® outhaul rigging setups.
