The Tecnoseal 01156-1 series consists of small sacrificial internal engine anodes designed for Yamaha 75–250 HP outboard motors. Corresponding to Yamaha OEM part number 68V-11325-01, these replacement anodes help protect metallic components within the crankcase and cylinder assembly against corrosion.

Each anode features a cylindrical body with a recessed hexagonal socket at one end and an axial M6 internal threaded mounting hole. The body includes the distinctive stepped mounting profile illustrated in the Tecnoseal catalogue. This configuration distinguishes the component from conventional pencil anodes and other Yamaha internal engine anodes.

The anode acts as a sacrificial corrosion protection component.
