Tecnoseal 68V-11325-02 / 6AW-11325-00 Yamaha Crankcase Cylinder Anode 75–250 HP
The Tecnoseal 01156 series consists of sacrificial internal engine anodes designed for Yamaha 75–250 HP outboard motors and the listed VX/SX WaveRunner applications (2008–2013). These replacement anodes correspond to Yamaha OEM part numbers 68V-11325-02 and 6AW-11325-00 and help protect metallic crankcase and cylinder components against corrosion.
Each anode features a stepped cylindrical body with two different outside diameters and an axial M6 internal threaded mounting hole. The narrower cylindrical section extends from the wider section, forming the distinctive mounting profile illustrated in the Tecnoseal catalogue.
The anode acts as a sacrificial corrosion protection component. During service, the zinc, aluminium or magnesium material corrodes preferentially, helping reduce galvanic corrosion of surrounding protected metallic engine parts. Inspection and replacement should follow the engine manufacturer's maintenance recommendations.
According to the Tecnoseal catalogue, the anode measures 32 mm (1.26 in) in overall height (h). The smaller cylindrical section has a diameter (Ø) of 14 mm (0.55 in), while the larger section has a diameter (Ø1) of 22 mm (0.87 in). The internal mounting thread (m) is M6. These dimensions are identical for all three material versions.
Three material versions are available. The zinc version, Tecnoseal 01156, weighs 0.06 kg (0.13 lbs) and corresponds to Osculati 43.260.19. The aluminium version, Tecnoseal 01156AL, weighs 0.02 kg (0.04 lbs) and corresponds to Osculati 43.260.21. The magnesium version, Tecnoseal 01156MG, weighs 0.006 kg (0.01 lbs). The appropriate material should be selected according to the engine manufacturer's specifications and operating water conditions.
