Tecnoseal 67C-45251-00 / 63D-45251-10 Yamaha 25–60 HP Lower Unit Anode M8
The Tecnoseal 01132 series consists of sacrificial lower unit anodes designed for Yamaha 25–60 HP outboard motors. Corresponding to Yamaha OEM part numbers 67C-45251-00 and 63D-45251-10, these replacement anodes help protect submerged metallic components of compatible outboard lower units against galvanic corrosion.
Each anode features a compact, tapered rectangular block with a flat upper mounting surface and an M8 threaded hole. Its body is slightly narrower at one end, creating a trapezoidal profile intended to match the corresponding mounting position on compatible Yamaha lower-unit assemblies. The sacrificial metal provides a replaceable corrosion protection component for surrounding submerged metallic parts.
The anode measures 35 mm (1.38 in) in overall length (a), with a maximum width (l) of 26 mm (1.02 in) and a narrower width (l1) of 21 mm (0.83 in). Its thickness (h) is 23 mm (0.91 in), and the mounting thread (m) is M8. These dimensions are common to all three material versions.
Three material versions are available with identical dimensions and mounting geometry. The zinc version, Tecnoseal 01132, weighs 0.12 kg (0.26 lbs) and corresponds to Osculati 43.260.02. The aluminium version, Tecnoseal 01132AL, weighs 0.05 kg (0.11 lbs) and corresponds to Osculati 43.260.50. The magnesium version, Tecnoseal 01132MG, weighs 0.03 kg (0.07 lbs) and corresponds to Osculati 43.260.51. These material options allow the appropriate sacrificial anode to be selected according to the vessel's operating water conditions.
The same anode design is also listed under Tecnoseal catalogue references 01757 and 01916. These additional references can assist in identifying corresponding replacement anodes in the manufacturer's catalogue.
