The device is easy to install and configure. You can choose from 6 preset modes of operation with various port speed settings and routing schemes using the button or create and configure your own modes.
Features:
- 5 ports of NMEA 0183 (three full duplex ports, one of them with galvanic isolation on 2500 VRMS, two ports for reception only);
- 1 SeaTalk port (multiple devices on the same bus are allowed) supports both asymmetric (RS-232) and differential (RS-422) equipment connection NMEA 0183;
- Supports NMEA 0183 ports from 300 to 115200 baud and automatic speed detection
- bi-directional conversion of data between NMEA 0183 and SeaTalk interfaces with autopilot support;
- individual filter settings on all ports (by SeaTalk datagrams, source IDs and format NMEA 0183 messages) for both reception and transmission;
- "tunnel" port mode for non-standard message forwarding from Navtex equipment, legacy and non-standard equipment;
- supports the transfer of data from the port input to the output of the same port (enabled in pre-installed mode # 6), which allows you to use the device in the mode of a signal amplifier, splitter or buffer.
Supply voltage: 7-16 V. Current consumption (maximum, all ports of NMEA 0183 with a load of 100 ohms): 60 mA. Port input resistance (port # 1, # 2, # 3, # 5/port # 4): 12/96 kOhm. Dimensions of the device: 85x45x28 mm.
