The device has characteristics similar to YDWN-02 (on the page on the left), but differs in the presence of a SeaTalk port and four NMEA 0183 ports. You can connect as many devices to the SeaTalk data bus. The built-in bi-directional data format converter NMEA 0183 and SeaTalk allows the use of SeaTalk device data on NMEA 0183 devices and vice versa. The control of SeaTalk autopilot is supported using NMEA 0183 messages. For the price of a regular NMEA 0183 multiplexer, you get a device with very flexible settings that can be easily modified using a browser on a smartphone or PC. Setting the speed of operation and enabling the transfer of messages between ports is done with one click. The device can multiplex Navtex format data and NMEA 0183 messages without checksum. This so-called "tunnel mode" can be enabled on any port or device server. This product is suitable if your cartplotter has only one NMEA 0183 port, to which you need to connect several NMEA 0183 devices
