The device has an NMEA 2000 port, a SeaTalk port and two NMEA 0183 ports, three TCP/UDP servers and a built-in web interface to facilitate firmware configuration and update. The device can create a new Wi-Fi network or connect to an existing Wi-Fi network.
Features:
- built-in web devices allow you to observe for vessel data in the browser;
- automatically records track and important data vessel to internal memory and can load them to the cloud service (page 4);
- flexible routing, conversion settings and filtering data between all ports, Servers and Protocols
- can work as a wireless extension cord NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183 and SeaTalk networks;
allows you to connect multiple physical wireless devices;
- free diagnostic software compatible with Microsoft Windows, MAC OS and Linux is available;
- diagnostic mode for viewing all data streams in the browser.
Used for:
- connections of legacy equipment with NMEA 0183 and SeaTalk interfaces (sensors, displays, autopilots) with modern cartplotters equipped with NMEA 2000 interface only;
- NMEA 0183 connections of equipment operating at different speeds (for example, receiver GPS at 4800 baud to AIS receiver at 38400 baud) or using different protocols (e.g. to connect SeaTalk sensors to NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 equipment)
- connection of navigation software to equipment (the device is compatible with almost all maritime navigation programs including OpenCPN, Expedition 10, Coastal Explorer, iNavx, Navionics Boating, iSailor and others);
- viewing data and control of the vessel in real time, including via the Internet (required access to the vessel's Wi-Fi network via VPN).
