Osculati AISI 316 Stainless Steel Pan Head Self-Tapping Screws DIN 7981 / UNI 6954

Osculati pan head self-tapping screws are manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel and feature a cross-recessed drive. Listed according to DIN 7981 and UNI 6954, these screws are designed for fastening compatible panels, fittings and mechanical components in marine, outdoor and general maintenance applications.

The screws feature a rounded pan head with a flat bearing surface underneath. Unlike countersunk screws, the head remains above the mounting surface, making this design suitable for installations where a countersunk recess is not required.

The self-tapping thread is designed to form a mating thread in compatible materials during installation. Depending on the workpiece material, thickness and fastening requirements, a correctly sized pilot hole may be necessary. The cross-recessed drive allows installation using a suitable screwdriver or driver bit.

AISI 316 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance for marine hardware and other applications involving exposure to moisture. Material compatibility and installation conditions should be considered when selecting fasteners for use in demanding environments.
