Osculati AISI 316 Stainless Steel Slotted Cheese Head Machine Screws DIN 84 / UNI 6107
Osculati slotted cheese head machine screws are manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel and conform to the DIN 84 / UNI 6107 standards indicated in the supplier catalogue. They feature a cylindrical head with a straight slot and a metric threaded shaft for fastening compatible marine fittings and mechanical components.
The cheese head has a cylindrical profile with a flat bearing surface underneath. Unlike countersunk screws, the head remains above the mounting surface after installation. Its straight-slot drive allows tightening and removal using a correctly sized flat-blade screwdriver.
These machine screws are designed for use with matching threaded holes or compatible metric nuts. They do not have a self-tapping thread and are not intended to form their own mating thread in an unthreaded workpiece.
AISI 316 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance for suitable marine, outdoor and general mechanical applications. These screws can be used for fastening compatible equipment components, brackets, fittings and assemblies where a cylindrical screw head is appropriate.
