Osculati AISI 316 Stainless Steel Hex Nuts DIN 934 / UNI 5588

Osculati hexagonal nuts are manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel and are listed according to DIN 934 / UNI 5588. They feature an internal metric thread and a six-sided external profile for fastening compatible bolts, machine screws and threaded rods.

The hexagonal shape allows the nuts to be tightened or removed using a correctly sized wrench or socket. Their internal threads engage with corresponding metric external threads to form a mechanical fastening connection.

These are standard hex nuts without an integrated self-locking mechanism. Where additional resistance to loosening is required, a suitable locking arrangement should be selected according to the application.

AISI 316 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance for suitable marine, outdoor and general mechanical applications. These nuts can be used for fastening compatible marine fittings, brackets, equipment components and other threaded assemblies.

The range includes seven nominal metric thread sizes from M3 to M12. Each size is identified by an individual Osculati part number and supplied in a box containing 25, 100 or 200 pieces, depending on the selected thread diameter.

Size Selection

Select the required nominal metric thread size to match the corresponding bolt, machine screw or threaded rod. The internal thread must be compatible with the external thread of the mating fastener.

Each thread size is supplied in a fixed box quantity as indicated in the table above.
