Osculati large diameter flat washers are manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel and designed for use with compatible bolts, machine screws and other threaded fasteners. They feature an enlarged circular profile, with an outside diameter three times the nominal fastening size.

The wider bearing surface helps distribute the clamping force from a bolt head or nut over a larger contact area compared with a conventional flat washer of the same nominal size. This makes these washers useful for fastening components where additional load distribution is required.
