Osculati DIN 7505A wood and chipboard screws are manufactured from A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel and designed for fastening compatible chipboard panels, wood and plastic components. They feature a flat countersunk head, a cross-recessed drive and a pointed threaded shaft.
The flat countersunk head has a tapered underside that allows it to sit flush with the mounting surface when installed in a suitable countersunk recess. The cross-recessed drive enables tightening and removal using a matching Phillips screwdriver or driver bit.
The pointed tip and coarse thread are designed to engage suitable wood-based and plastic materials. Depending on the substrate, material thickness and proximity to an edge, a pilot hole may be required to reduce splitting or damage during installation.
