Tecnoseal 01041 / 01041MG Flexofold Propeller Nut Anode – Zinc & Magnesium

The Tecnoseal 01041 and 01041MG are sacrificial propeller nut anodes designed for compatible Flex-O-Fold folding propeller assemblies. Available in zinc and magnesium, these components provide replaceable sacrificial corrosion protection for electrically connected underwater metallic propeller parts.

Unlike the larger dome-shaped Flex-O-Fold anodes, this version features a compact triangular mounting body with three fastening holes and a central opening. The design incorporates a 56 mm overall dimension (a), a 39 mm mounting dimension (i) and a total height of 10 mm. The central opening measures 14 mm (Ø), while the three mounting holes have a diameter of 9 mm (Ø1). An additional profile dimension (b) is specified as 8 mm.

Both versions share identical mounting dimensions and differ in sacrificial material and weight. The zinc version 01041 weighs 0.32 kg (0.71 lbs), while the magnesium version 01041MG weighs 0.08 kg (0.18 lbs).

Inspection and Replacement

Inspect the anode periodically for material consumption and replace it when significantly depleted. During installation, ensure correct positioning and suitable electrical contact with the metallic component requiring protection.
