The Lewmar HX1 is a professional horizontal anchor windlass series engineered for dependable anchoring performance, quiet operation, and long service life. Designed for recreational and cruising vessels, the HX1 combines an efficient planetary gearbox with a robust anodised aluminium chassis and durable composite housing, providing excellent corrosion resistance and reliable operation in harsh marine conditions.

The series is available in two deck configurations. The GO version features a single gypsy for rope and chain handling, while the GD version combines a rope/chain gypsy with an integrated capstan for additional mooring operations. All models are equipped with sealed deck units, IP67 motor protection and are designed for quick installation with minimal maintenance.

Depending on the selected version, the HX1 is supplied with either a 500 W or 800 W 12V motor and supports 6/7 mm or 8 mm DIN 766 anchor chain. GO models can also be upgraded with the optional Lewmar Free Fall Kit.
