The Lewmar C4 Capstan is a heavy-duty marine capstan engineered for professional rope handling on larger sailing yachts and motor yachts. Manufactured entirely from polished AISI 316 stainless steel, it combines exceptional corrosion resistance with high pulling performance and smooth operation.
The C4 series is available in both 12 V / 1600 W and 24 V / 2000 W versions. Its advanced WARP™ drum finish improves rope grip while reducing rope wear by up to 30%, and the compact worm gearbox minimizes installation depth. The gearbox incorporates an anti-runback mechanism that functions as a mechanical brake for enhanced operational safety.
Designed for vessels from 16 to 20 metres, the complete capstan kit includes the deck unit, motor/gearbox assembly, remote solenoid and all major operating components required for installation.
