The Vetus UNIFL1325 Uniflex 13 Flexible Coupling provides optimal vibration isolation and precise driveline alignment for marine propulsion systems. It allows for a shaft misalignment of up to 2°, ensuring that the propeller shaft is automatically centered to the gearbox, even in systems using flexible engine supports or self-aligning bearings.
The coupling’s design ensures quiet and smooth power transmission while reducing torsional vibrations and shock loads. Its robust rubber damping element effectively absorbs engine irregularities, minimizing drivetrain stress and extending the service life of both the engine and shaft assembly.
This model features a cylindrical clamping hub and a 4” flange compatible with most common gearbox types. It installs easily without the need for special machining, tapering, or keyway cutting. Direct mounting is supported for Hurth, Velvet, Technodrive, ZF, and PRM gearboxes, while adapter flanges are available for Volvo, Yanmar, and Kanzaki transmissions.
