The Vetus BOXS100 Dorade Box (article BOXS100) is a high-gloss polished AISI 316 stainless-steel base designed for all Ø100 mm ID cowl ventilators. It mounts over the included stainless mushroom vent to create an extremely dry baffle, preventing water entry into the ventilation system. The mushroom vent can be sealed from inside by rotating a knob, and a mosquito screen is integrated. Suitable for Tom, Marin100, and Leva100 cowl vents, this unit requires the BOXAD100 adapter when deck thickness exceeds 25 mm.

Vetus BOXS100 Stainless Steel Dorade Box for Ø100 mm Cowl Ventilators
The Vetus BOXS100 is a premium AISI 316 stainless-steel dorade box engineered for all Vetus Ø100 mm ID cowl ventilators, including the Tom, Marin100, and Leva100 models. Its polished stainless-steel construction offers exceptional corrosion resistance and serves as a durable upgrade to earlier cast-alloy versions. Installed over the included stainless-steel mushroom vent, the BOXS100 forms an extremely dry baffle system that drains away water entering the cowl ventilator. The mushroom vent can be fully sealed from inside using a rotating knob, providing added protection during heavy seas or when ventilation must be closed. A mosquito screen is integrated to prevent insect intrusion while maintaining airflow. Deck thicknesses above 25 mm require the BOXAD100 adapter.
