It includes a stainless-steel AISI 316 mushroom ventilator that allows complete internal closure of the airflow while efficiently draining water that enters the cowl. The box fits PVC and silicone ventilators with a knurled base ring loosened by hand. Deck rings—available in synthetic or stainless steel—can be mounted using supplied hardware. Optional accessories include a mosquito screen and stainless-steel closing plate. Not suitable for cowl ventilator type S.

The Vetus DJBOX is a synthetic dorade box engineered for DONALD, JERRY, TRAMON, and LIBEC cowl ventilator systems. Its internal chamber drains water that enters the ventilator, ensuring dry and reliable ventilation below deck. The included stainless-steel (AISI 316) mushroom ventilator enables complete internal closure of the airflow, providing protection in adverse weather or when ventilation is not required. The DJBOX is compatible with PVC and silicone cowl vents that feature a hand-loosened knurled base ring. Female deck rings made of synthetic material or stainless steel (AISI 316) can be easily mounted using the supplied nuts and bolts. Optional upgrades include a mosquito screen and a stainless-steel closing plate. The unit is not suitable for cowl ventilator type S.
