Plastimo Long Stainless Steel Safety Shackles
The Plastimo Long Stainless Steel Safety Shackles are engineered for reliable fastening in demanding marine environments. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, these long D shackles combine excellent mechanical strength with an innovative captive pin system that minimizes the risk of losing the pin during operation.
The unique double-thread design allows the pin to disengage from the locking thread before resting on a secondary thread when opened. The pin can only be completely removed by fully unscrewing it, significantly improving safety during installation and maintenance. The elongated body provides additional clearance for rigging, blocks, fittings and deck hardware where a standard shackle may not offer sufficient reach.
