The Plastimo Stainless Steel Bow Shackles are engineered for dependable marine fastening applications where strength, durability and operational safety are essential. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, these bow shackles feature an innovative double-thread pin system that minimizes the risk of accidental pin loss during operation.
Unlike conventional shackles, the pin engages two separate threads. When the shackle is opened, the pin remains supported by the secondary thread and can only be removed by completely unscrewing it. This design greatly improves safety during installation, maintenance and regular onboard use.
The rounded bow profile provides greater internal clearance than standard D shackles, making these models ideal for multi-directional loading, rope terminations, blocks, rigging and mooring hardware.
