The Harken 900UPWC24 UniPower winch combines the low-profile benefits of a manual winch with the strong, low-amp 24-volt motor. The motor is partially embedded within the drum, extending just 105 mm (4 1/8 in) below the winch base, which is ideal for tight spaces on small vessels. Composite roller bearings minimize friction without lubrication, and 17-4PH stainless steel gears provide durability. Harken suggests using the DSSBK digital switch and HCP1717 circuit breaker, which are sold separately.
