Orkava PE4 short-length mooring ropes are complete floating lines made from 100% high-grade polyethylene, supplied with two spliced eyes and available in Ø32, 36, 40, 44 and 48 mm. Depending on the variant, cut lengths range from 35 to 110 m, with remaining usable lengths from 31 to 106 m and approximate weights from 18 to 122 kg. The 4-strand twisted rope with core has a tight weave, double-twined monofilament strand structure, high shock absorption, strong wear resistance and very low water absorption.

Orkava PE4 - Floating Polyethylene Mooring Rope with 2 Spliced Eyes Ø32-48 mm - Short Lengths
Orkava PE4 short-length mooring ropes are complete floating lines designed for inland navigation. They are made from 100% high-grade polyethylene and supplied with two spliced eyes. The rope features a 4-strand twisted construction with core, a tight weave and a double-twined monofilament strand structure.
ORKAVA PE4 provides high shock absorption and high wear resistance. Its hydrophobic raw material and tight weave result in very low water absorption, helping prevent the rope from becoming frozen stiff in winter. The rope behaves somewhat like steel wire, does not jam and is suitable for use with greased bollards when tying up vessels.

Length Configuration
Each rope is supplied with two spliced eyes. The remaining length is calculated from the cut length after allowing for two 150 cm eyes and two 50 cm splices.
Usage Notes
- Designed for inland navigation and vessel mooring.
- Suitable for use with greased bollards.
- Do not use in a hawser basket.
- Uncoil regularly.
- Each rope is neatly packed and marked externally with diameter and length.
