Orkava PE4 is a floating 4-strand twisted rope with core, made from 100% high-grade polyethylene and designed for inland navigation and vessel mooring. The range is supplied in 220 m lengths from Ø8 mm to Ø48 mm, with linear breaking loads from 5.8 kN to 186.7 kN. The rope has a tight weave, double-twined monofilament strand structure, high shock absorption, strong wear resistance and very low water absorption, with a blue-green color and blue ORKAVA marker tape.

Orkava PE4 - 4-Strand Twisted Floating Polyethylene Mooring Rope Ø8-48 mm - 220 m
Orkava PE4 is a floating mooring rope designed for inland navigation. It is made from 100% high-grade polyethylene and features a 4-strand twisted construction with core, a tight weave and a double-twined monofilament strand structure.
The rope is designed to handle somewhat like steel wire without jamming and is intended for use with greased bollards when tying up vessels. It provides high shock absorption and high wear resistance. Due to its hydrophobic raw material and tight weave, the rope absorbs very little water, helping it remain flexible in winter conditions.
