Clamcleat CL826-72 is a lightweight nylon Aero cleat assembly designed for ropes from 4 to 6 mm (5/32–1/4").
The system combines a CL826 Aero base with the CL272 Nylon Mk2 Junior cleat. It is rigged directly onto the rope and provides a 2:1 mechanical advantage for easier line tensioning.
The position of the cleat can be adjusted by hand without tools, allowing quick setup and repositioning. Its all-nylon construction is corrosion proof and provides a lower-cost alternative to aluminium Aero cleat assemblies for lighter-load applications.
Typical applications include tents, sports netting, canvas structures, tie-downs and hammock support ropes.
