Clamcleat CL217 Mk2 Side Entry cleats are compact aluminium starboard-side cleats designed for 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") ropes. The side-entry fairlead allows the rope to be hooked into the cleat quickly and removed easily, making the design suitable for dinghy control lines, reaching hooks, manually operated sunshades and sports nets. The range is available in silver stove-enamel and hard-anodised finishes and can be combined with the CL819 Tapered Pad for improved rope alignment.

Clamcleat CL217 Mk2 Side Entry Starboard Cleats for 3–6 mm Rope, Silver or Hard Anodised
Clamcleat CL217 Mk2 is a compact aluminium side-entry rope cleat designed for ropes from 3 to 6 mm (1/8–1/4").
The starboard side-entry fairlead allows the rope to be hooked into the cleat quickly for cleating and removed easily when required. This makes the CL217 Mk2 suitable for applications where the line needs frequent engagement and release.
Typical applications include sailing dinghy control lines, reaching hooks, manually operated sunshades and sports nets.
For installations where the rope approaches the cleat at an angle, the CL819 Tapered Pad can be used to improve rope and cleating alignment.
The range is available in two finishes: CL217 Mk2 with a silver stove-enamel finish and CL217 Mk2AN with a hard-anodised finish for a harder-wearing surface.
