Clamcleat CL255 Omega Cleats for 3–6 mm Rope, Silver or Hard Anodised
Clamcleat CL255 Omega is an aluminium rope cleat designed for lines from 3 to 6 mm (1/8–1/4").
The cleat has an inverted operating principle compared with conventional cleats: the rope is lifted upward into the teeth to grip, while the line drops away freely when released.
This configuration makes the CL255 suitable for through-deck and through-mast applications where the rope needs to run freely when uncleated.
The Omega cleat is also used as part of specialist safety systems designed to redirect impact loads. The manufacturer states that the cleat has been used in blast-tested safety installations.
The range is available in two finishes: CL255 with a silver finish and CL255AN with a hard-anodised finish for increased surface durability and wear resistance.
