Optiparts EX2204 is a premium cunningham system designed for Laser® MK2 and ILCA® 7 dinghies, providing an efficient 8:1 purchase ratio for precise luff tension control and advanced sail shaping.
The system features a spliced 4 mm Dyneema® primary line, offering exceptional strength and minimal stretch, ensuring consistent performance under load. It is paired with two Harken 29 mm T2 soft-attach blocks, known for their ultra-lightweight construction and low-friction efficiency.
The included 4 mm DB-Racing secondary control line combines a Dyneema® core with a Technora / polyester cover, delivering superior grip, abrasion resistance, and durability during repeated trimming operations.
The spliced primary line is designed to be attached around a lower mast loop (EX2225), ensuring proper alignment and secure system integration. The control lines are pre-cut to optimal lengths, allowing immediate installation and optional customization with loop or braided handles.
For full system installation, the EX2225 spliced mast loop is required and must be mounted below the vang assembly (sold separately).
