Optiparts EX2200 is a high-performance cunningham system designed for Laser® 4.7, Laser® Radial, and ILCA® 4 and 6 dinghies, offering a 6:1 purchase ratio for effective luff tension control and sail shape optimization.
The system features a spliced 5 mm Dyneema® primary line, delivering exceptional strength and minimal stretch, ensuring consistent performance under load. It is paired with a 29 mm Harken Ti-Lite block, known for its lightweight construction and efficient low-friction operation.
The included 4 mm DB-Racing secondary control line combines a Dyneema® core with a Technora / polyester cover, providing excellent grip, abrasion resistance, and long-term durability during frequent trimming adjustments.
The spliced primary line is designed to attach directly to the top of the vang assembly, ensuring correct system geometry and reliable operation. The lines are pre-cut to ideal lengths for quick installation and can be customized with loop or braided handles.
For complete system setup, the EX2225 spliced mast loop is recommended (sold separately) and must be installed below the vang assembly.
