The Tecnoseal 01144 series consists of sacrificial trim tab anodes designed for Yamaha 150–200 HP outboard motors. Corresponding to Yamaha OEM part number 6K1-45371-00, these replacement anodes help protect submerged metallic components of compatible Yamaha outboard lower units against galvanic corrosion.

Each anode features a circular base with an integrated angled vertical fin. The fin extends above the circular base to form the characteristic Yamaha trim tab profile, while a central threaded mounting arrangement provides attachment to the corresponding position on the outboard lower unit. A small projection at the edge of the circular base is also visible in the catalogue drawing and should be considered when comparing the replacement with the original component.

The sacrificial anode material gradually corrodes during service, helping reduce galvanic corrosion of surrounding protected metallic components. The integrated fin also maintains the physical trim tab configuration of the corresponding original part.

The anode measures 75 mm (2.95 in) in overall height (h) and 91 mm (3.58 in) in circular base diameter (Ø). The central mounting thread (m) is M10 × 1.25. These dimensions and mounting characteristics are common to all three material versions.

Three materials are available. The zinc version, Tecnoseal 01144, weighs 0.41 kg (0.90 lbs). The aluminium version, Tecnoseal 01144AL, weighs 0.16 kg (0.35 lbs), while the magnesium version, Tecnoseal 01144MG, weighs 0.10 kg (0.22 lbs). The different sacrificial materials allow selection according to the operating water conditions and corrosion protection requirements of the vessel.
