The Yacht Devices YDAB-01R is a multifunctional NMEA 2000 alarm and monitoring unit equipped with a SeaTalk NG-compatible connector, an external 16 mm push button with integrated LED, and an output for a standard 4–8 Ohm speaker. It features a built-in 10 W audio amplifier, 28 sound signals and three configurable operating modes: MOB button, 28-channel digital switching alarm unit and engine monitoring unit. The device operates from 7–16 V via the NMEA 2000 network, weighs 37 g, has a 54 mm case length and a 400 mm cable; the speaker is not supplied.

Yacht Devices YDAB-01R SeaTalk NG Alarm Button with MOB, Digital Switching and Engine Monitoring
The Yacht Devices YDAB-01R is a multifunctional NMEA 2000 alarm and monitoring device designed for integration with Raymarine SeaTalk NG-compatible networks. It connects to an external push button with integrated LED and to a standard 4 or 8 Ohm sound speaker, allowing the device to provide audible and visual alarms for MOB, digital switching and engine monitoring applications.
The YDAB-01R contains a built-in 10 W audio amplifier and 28 pre-recorded sound signals. Its operating mode and audio level can be configured through the connected external button, while additional settings can be configured through the NMEA 2000 network.

MOB Button Mode
MOB mode is the factory-default operating mode. Holding the external button for two seconds activates the sound alarm and starts transmission of NMEA 2000 MOB messages using the current GPS position available on the vessel's NMEA 2000 network.

MOB messages generated by the device remain within the vessel's NMEA 2000 network and are not transmitted externally over VHF or AIS.
Digital Switching Alarm Unit
In digital switching mode, the YDAB-01R operates as an NMEA 2000 binary switch bank with 28 internal channels. Each channel can be associated with a separate sound alarm and LED flashing sequence.

Engine Monitoring Mode
In engine monitoring mode, the device monitors engine and transmission information available on the NMEA 2000 network. It can activate alarms when engine or transmission warning messages are received or when configured engine parameters move outside specified limits.
